smart gym/trainers in sf bay area?

looking for smart trainers or gym in sf bay area, subscribed to gray cook's or similar methods, etc - not looking to jump into crossfit, i have inflammation issues that cripple me post workout. need to start slow and mindful, developmental movements, etc.

Which side of the bay?

East bay:

California Strength (Glenn Pendlay and team)
Ice Chamber is legit
Crossfit Oakland has some good people
Crossfit OneWorld I've heard good things about

SF:
Crossfit SF has KStarr (though he seems to be travelling 'round the world filming himself these days)
Jim Schmitz trains folks in South SF

South Bay:

Catalyst Athletics, of course.
Also, Dan John does workouts at Coyote Pt.

We're in Sunnyvale and do everything from weightlifting to fitness classes to personal training. Slow and mindful describes our intro fitness class; our business model doesn't include trying to impress people with how badly we can hurt them.
