After a few months spent listening to Greg talking on Robb's podcast it has become pretty clear that he's a guy who genuinely wants to help people make the most of themselves. Super knowledgeable, no axe to grind, funny and honest as they come he's motivated me to buy his book (missed the free t-shirt offer by a few days unfortunately) and subscribe to the magazine. Living in the UK, the shipping exceeded the cover price but I know it will be money well spent. Not aware of any decent local coaches so will be studying the text very closely. Trained on and off since I was 18 with weights and serious cardio, but focusing on appearance. At 48, and thanks to a pretty strict paleo diet for three months, I'm probably in the best shape of my life. What better time to switch to functional strength training? Wish me luck.
