Any opinions the Werksan Do Win shoes?
The finances will not, for the moment, allow me to spring for the Adidas Ironwork or Adistars. I was wondering if anyone can comment on the quality of the Werksan shoes. I know their equipment and name has a great deal of respect in the PL community.

I love them. The uppers are softer and fit my feet better, they're lighter, the heel is slightly taller (good for me with long legs and limited ankle ROM from injury), and they, unlike my Adidas, didn't start falling apart after a week of use.

Bobby,
contact Glenn Pendlay he sells the DooWin shoes with a slightly higher heel as well. I believe but may be mistaken that he sells them for $85.00. I'm wearing a pair right now in between sets of snatches and they are very comfortable and super well made.
Can't beat em in my opinion.
his number is 1 940 224 9841 he'll answer all your questions.

Thanks, gentleman. I am happy that I will be saving about 200 bucks on lifting shoes. Werksan also sells them directly from their website but, if your reference is better, Pierre, in terms of customer service and support, he has my business. BTW, we are talking about the leather Do Wins and not the suedes, right?

I got as pari of the VS athletics from website of same name. I suspect they are re-badged do wins. same look as far as I can tell. Heels are TALL. I've never had oly shoes/squat shoes whatever but I have lifted in boots adn these are by far the best things since Chuck t's, except the heel takes some getting used to.

Actually I'd love to know the difference between them if anybody knows--I know the suede are about twenty bucks more, and they look pretty sweet but seem like they wouldn't last as long.

I am still pondering picking up a pair of the Do Wins. Probably in the next month or so, I'll order some. I also noticed that the suedes cost more. Even if there is a difference in quality that warrants the higher price, I still don't think I could lift in some suede shoes. That's a no-no!
