That bit of news was interesting to me in spite of the manner it was presented. I've tried a couple diets. First was the MD and I blew that off coz it just offers to much of a chance to go overboard on the carb ups. Shew!, some days I'd go over 10k cals without even blinking....More or less the same thing to some extent with the Zone, the carbs got me! I did some reading on Atkins and restricting the carbs to 20 gr/day might just work for me.

My question is this Frank: While on he Zone how do you go overboard on the carbs when you are measuring and weighing everything?

Coz, basically, I can be an undisciplined slob as my metabolism will let me get away with it. Don't gain too fast, or lose fast either. Sorta bounce around a place where my body gets comfortable. So, the Zone opens up an area for me that, before I know it, I've eaten a little of this and that until I've gone overboard. Undisciplined slob when it comes to food. I mean, who'd of thought one could go overboard with nuts? I can eat 7-8 handfulls without batting an eye, thats, what, 800-900 cals?
