This is a new lifter I have been coaching, she has been training consistently since May, I am hoping Greg or anybody who knows what they're looking at would provide a technique critique as I am unsure of where I should be focusing my attention?
Would extending the legs for longer (lengthening the first pull) help her stay over longer? Are there any specific drills that you think would help? I'm guessing tall snatches for the pull under mechanics?
Muscle snatch and tall snatch focusing on high elbows before she turns her arms over.
Hang or block snatches from mid upper thigh to get the feeling of the right balance and position, 3 position snatches, segment/pause snatches (pause at mid thigh), halting snatch deadlift both alone and as a complex w snatches, flat footed snatch pulls... All those will help in somewhat different ways.
