After spinning my wheels for several months, I finally decided to actually read and follow Greg Everetts' Olympic Weightlifting book. I've just finished week 9 of the technique development program, and a lot of the glaring mistakes in my form have cleared up. I've been checking my ego at the door, but I'm chomping at the bit to try some heavy weights. What would be the best program from his book to follow next? I'm thinking either the beginners program for a couple of months, or the Classic lift position/technique cycle. And what would be the best way to incorporate some technique drills into these programs? Heaving snatch balances and scarecrow snatches have been quite instrumental in cleaning up my balance and technique issues in the snatch, so I would like to keep them in my program for a while longer. Thanks in advance for any advice!
