Nice of you to put those cinderblocks to good use. You should deck out your backyard, Sanford & Son style...I'm sure there's some place near NYC you can get old tractor tires, propane tanks, and miscellaneous training 'junk.'

Is that hollowed-out BMW still parked down the street?

Log notes from last night will have to come later; left them at home.
Am thinking of finishing up with the "squat all the damn time program."
Things I like about it:
-Lots of squatting
-planning is easy
-workable with my non-oly gym days
-jerking off racks

Things less liked:
-all this squatting is tough on my knee
-too little time snatching and cleaning
-squatting before lifts reduces amount of energy for lifts.

So I may now follow the “Pacifica Barbell Club Program” as inspired from browsing again DJ's book over breakfast. Slight variation on days.

Monday and Wed
Snatch
Clean and Jerk
Hang Snatch Pull - Need to do more high pulls.

Saturday
Front Squats
Jerks off rack
Behind Neck Press
This can be done at Richie's. Maybe PP for jerks, but mostly doable. This could also be done on Thursdays if I do a Thursday.

Looks good b/c:
-More time working on the full lifts, esp snatch
-more lifts so less need to squat all the time (I see heavy cleans coming up!)
-high pulls
-fits with gym sched.

...we tend to interpret other people's actions as saying something about them, whereas we interpret our own actions as saying more about the situation we're in. So, when we picture ourselves acting in the third-person, we see ourselves as an observer would, as the 'kind of person' who performs that behaviour. "Seeing oneself as the type of person who would engage in a desired behaviour increases the likelihood of engaging in that behaviour", the researchers said.

You overestimate the size of my backyard. I could prob throw the cinderblock from corner to corner the longest way in the yard (which would be bad for the fence).
The Beamer is gone.

Default 5/7 No LBH

PLayed a couple hours of pickup ball in the park. Then did 2 sets of 20 rollouts on the ab wheel.
Rolled my ankle slightly during the game. One blister.
Dreamt last night I dunked. A two handed dunk, nothing amazing, the kind if I ever do dunk would be like I bet.
I was able to touch rim easily at the park, so maybe...

Snatch work. Worked up to 65. Wasn't accelerating enough so Joe had me go down to 40 and do close grip pwr snatches. Acceleration required! Something to keep in bag o' tricks. Did with pinky on line.

Clean and jerks. Ok. More light stuff. THis is the light week. As usual, got better as worked into.

Extras
tri downs with 70x12 2 sets
2 sets leg raises, 3 sets back ext (weightless), some "curls for the girls" as Jimmy put it last night.
Relaxed night, though was a little tired. I think go light again Saturday at RIchies w/ FS, Jerks and BNP. Then we do some work next Monday.

Also, weighed in last night... 82.5kg, after w/o, in shorts and shirt, etc. Was 79 at Sablo after breakfast, so some gain in place. Though 82.5 is half a kg more than my best snatch.... uh oh.
