Default Acai

Anyone heard anything about these? A friend sent it to me and between the "ohmigosh these are the best berries in the world," I thought it was interesting.

If you can get your hands on the berries it's good to go but everyone is doing juice. Not a fan of the juice.

Is that primarily because of the insulin respone it might provoke?

The berries are sometimes hard to find, but Sambazon and a few other companies offer a powder.

Like a lot of things, it is a little over-hyped these days... the whole "miracle herb / fruit from the rainforest" angle. But still, it does have some nice nutritional properties.

Yeah, I saw the powder. Wasn't planning to order this as a supplement, but thought others might be interested. If anyone tries it out and it cures their cancer or anything, let us know. I was leery of it because of the "it's from the jungle and only available on .03 acres of land in the world" marketing pitch.
