Greg-
I just read your PM article on training for the *older* lifter. It leaves me wondering, would you recommend modifying the WODs for a novice (<1 year) early forty-something lifter in terms of frequency, volume , or intensity? |

Greg -
As a beginner your training won't be as taxing, so you should actually be fine with the workouts as is. As you progress, though, you may find you want to take an additional rest day or reduce the daily volume somewhat. |

Thanks for the feedback, Greg. I've taken most of this last cycle off while working with a coach. Should I just jump back in at the beginning of the next cycle (next week), or should I repeat the one that's now ending? |
