I haven't posted in a while, but I wanted to ask, what are your thoughts on split style for the clean and snatch. I had a lot of shoulder issues when snatching, I recently switched to a split snatch and have had no shoulder pain.

I look at the split lifts as an absolute last option, or as an interim style while problems are being sorted. If you've exhausted all other options, i.e. mobility work, diagnosis and treatment by a professional, etc., then the split lifts are a totally valid style.
