Next Friday will be the PR day Derek!
We'll get Danny to cue you in on some technique too!

Can't wait.

Frustrating day.

Snatched 140, couldn't get under 145. Old PR was 145. Form is looking a little better on the lighter weights. When the weight gets heavy, just haven't found the right position and still jumping forward at the bottom.

C & J 185, 10 less than PR. Jump way forward to catch cleans.

Looking forward to lots of practice during the next Bulgarian cycle.

Snatch – max single (95#/115/125 & 130f & 135f)
Clean & Jerk – max single (135#/150/160 & 165c + j failed (+15# jerk, +10# clean)
AW 7 | 2007-12-22
+5# on snatch, I can get to 135#, but I think my form is hindering it

Snatch: up to 145 x 1 PR Getting under the bar much quicker.
C&J: hit 205 x1 soid, then cleaned 215 (PR), but didn't have the jerk.
Maxing out is mentally draining....

later; Press 132.5 x2x2x2

Lots of SMR and Body Flow

Snatch- 80kg Power snatch
C+J- 120kg new PR- Power clean caught in a half squat, Front squat+jerk
Then played around with my new slosh pipe.
I got a lot stronger in this cycle and feel like my olympic lifts have improved a lot.

No heavy lifting for me today.

Went on the ol' weekend walk with my mom, worked on my PMenu article, and cut the timbers for the OL platform.

I need a REAL day off...
