Casey did 180 and 210 for a 390 total which gave him 4th place.

So if he is going for wildcard, then he doesn't have to compete at the Olympic trials....i don't understand. does someone know how this works?
Aimee 9 | 2008-01-23
If they (they meaning the IWF) offer Casey a wild card into the Olympics then that means he would have a secured spot, so he wouldn't need to compete in the Olympic trials. Right now we don't have any mens Olympic spots. Therefore, at this time, no US men have the opportunity to go to the Olympics. If they earn spots at the Pan Ams, then they will have to compete at the Olympic Trials to see who will take the spots.

Maybe I am really slow, but if there is no spot at the olympics for the men's, then there is no olympic trials, correct?
Aimee 12 | 2008-01-24
There will still be Olympic Trials for the women. men will probably lift, just to lift. I don't know.
dp 13 | 2008-01-24
