I'm not sure actually... when I am standing on the ground it is about chest height. i think.

It's 35 or 36 inches. Not quite chest height - mid-stomach or so I think.

Thank you SO much. I haven't been using the hook grip because I had this very misunderstanding: pressing the thumb against the bar, or actually pulling it around. Again...thanks for the great site.
