Default Snatch Analysis - Jumping forward

Hi everyone,

I have been working on improving my lifts based on video feedback I received a few months ago. Things are improving as I work on technique and mobility (hip and ankle), but I still consistently jump forward. I'm including a slow-motion video of a snatch at 185#. The lift felt good, but I clearly land several inches forward of where I jump from. I try to stay back on my heels long enough and I'm leaned back slightly at full extention, so I'm not sure where I'm going wrong. I'd appreciate any feedback you have! Thanks

You're leaving the bar out in front of you and moving into it with the hips. Think of moving the bar back into your hips instead. You may find it helpful to simply try to jump backward a half inch when you snatch.
