The post workout period is the preferred time to perform intensive stretching, as the tissues are still warm and pliable. Before you get jiggy with Pigeon Pose or Dead Bug, however, get your soft tissue primed for release and healing by using a foam roller. Foam rolling, like Active Release Technique and other similar modalities, break up adhesions and encourage the healing of scar tissue.......
