We Are Hiring!, Greg Everett,
Starting:
Immediately

The Position:
We are looking for a new trainer to teach fitness classes 9-12 times/week (currently Monday-Friday 7 am, Tuesday 6pm, Monday-Wednesday-Thursday 7pm). Trainers receive a flat rate per class, plus bonuses for new client recruitment.

Trainers will also have an unlimited personal training opportunity, but will be responsible for generating their own clientele (walk-ins and calls will be referred to you when appropriate, but we do not guarantee personal training clients). Trainers receive a percentage of their hourly private rate; this percentage increases as the number of training hours per month increases (includes class hours).

Trainers are employees, not independent contractors, but will have a large degree of autonomy as personal trainers in terms of methodology, promotion, hourly rates, etc.

Who We Need:
You must have experience as either a personal or group trainer and be familiar and comfortable with performing and instructing strength lifts and general conditioning work. Experience with the Olympic lifts on at least a basic level is necessary. No specific certifications are required, but education and credentials will be taken into consideration. You must be ambitious, enthusiastic, punctual, reliable and motivated to continually learn and improve. We are looking for a long-term commitment to working at Catalyst Athletics.

Additional Expectations
Our trainers must be enthusiastic members of our team. We expect trainers to help maintain orderliness in the facility, answer phones, speak with walk-ins when appropriate and generally take an interest in being part of Catalyst Athletics.

Internship
You will be required to intern unpaid for a minimum of 2 weeks during as many classes as possible. Our standards are high, and we expect our trainers to want to learn and improve. You will not start teaching classes until we are confident in your ability to run them to our standards.
