I'm in the middle of a project that involves me re-reading all of long-time regular Performance Menu contributor Matt Foreman's articles, and I just finished reading
Lessons from Romania, which we published in December 2008. Even though this article has been available for free on the site since then, I have to assume a lot of our newer readers and site visitors haven't read it, and for those of you who have, I want to encourage you to read it again.
This is easily one of the best articles we've ever published. Matt managed to pack so much into that article it's incredible (not that I ever expect anything less from him). Even for those of you who don't think weightlifting is the greatest thing ever, anyone who is at all athletically-inclined should find some genuine lessons and inspiration in this article. Please take a few minutes to read it, or read it again, and share it.
