Olympic Weightlifting Seminar - Level 1
Spend two days with Greg Everett, author of Olympic Weightlifting: A Complete Guide for Athletes & Coaches, learning progressions and technical drills for the snatch and clean & jerk, further developing your own lifting technique and improving your ability to instruct and coach your athletes and clients.
This seminar consists of primary practical work with brief lectures. Lectures will address topics such as technical details of the lifts, foundational principles and teaching protocols. Participants will have the opportunity to perform the snatch, clean and jerk with actual training loads along with technical and progression drills and receive individual coaching and corrections throughout the weekend.
No previous experience with the Olympic lifts is required, but attendees should be reasonably experienced with basic strength lifts such as the squat and deadlift. Those with injuries or other health limitations may attend without participation in the practical portions of the seminar.
