How would you describe Rugby to 8 and 12 year old American kids? I've watched some games when I was in college and a bit on the television but I was unable to describe it to them at all.

I htink I said "It's like combining soccer and American football with no pads" or something to that effect.

Quality not great and Gloucester soak up a lot of pressure before the money shot.

10 seconds of that sort of athleticism can make 80 minutes of dour collisions between huge men in mud and rain seem worthwhile.

I think the only thing it has in common with soccer is that like all codes of football it comes from the same origins.

How do we describe your football to British kids?

I would say think NFL but you cannot pass the ball forwards. It can only be kicked or carried forward.
