Coach Glassman told me about his old tumbling coach....Pat Mahoney I think. Mahoney would use a trampoline to get up in the rafters of a gym and sit up there before a basket ball game. He would leave crash mats under him on the floor and during a quite part of the game let go of the rafter and plummet to the mats, emitting a blood-curtling scream all the way down. Then just get up and walk out like nothing happened. That kicks-ass.

A man I'm sure I'd have loved!

It seems mean in the retelling, but my dad claims that one summer some kids bigger than he was stole a mannequin from a store. They threw it off the roof of the retirement home where a picnic was taking place.

I don't know if that's true. I do know it does make me want to learn some parkour.

Now that's funny! Both of those stories!
