Double Kettlebells: mixing Lifeline and DD bells
 

I know there is an earlier post but I am curious since I am considering purchasing doubles of all of my KB's. I have complete set of Dragondoor kettlebells and would like to go with the cheaper Lifeline kettlebells. Since they've been out for a while I would like to hear people's opinions on how DD's compare to Lifeline in terms of feel, finish, balance, etc. Would I notice a difference if I mixed them while doing double KB drills?

Save for the 106lb KB, all of my KB's have the old, less smooth coating, which I hear is the same as Lifeline KB's.

I don't own any, but....The lifeline bells that I've seen and used are very similar to the old DD bells.

You could try buying just one (Say a 24kg) to be sure. But, I think the difference would be negligible.

Check out the KBs that Glenn Pendlay sells on his site. he usually only sells high quality stuff and i think his pricing is reasonable. i think he gives discounts for buying doubles as well.
