Koklyaev pulls 370k x 3
Crosspost from Marunde and PB. Russian strongman and oly competitor pulling a triple in training...with all the Finnish style round back pulling it's interesting to see an Oly lifter style DL pull that's still back dominant.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HGFFkOChTUk (No whining about the straps or the leetle teeny belt he's wearing) Here's an excerpt from a recent training log of his translated by some chap at PB..... you'll see frequent pulling and lot's of variety of pulls. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Accessory work not included (pullups, dips, arms) All weights in kilos 11.01.06. He didn't even look like he was working hard. I am working towards 370 (in lb's) for a freaking DL triple.

Ooooph thats a lot of weight!
|
Misha is impressive on so many levels. I recall a great youtube video of him c&jing 529, muscle snatching 330, and pulling 880 in the same exhibition training session. The guy is one of the most impressive strength athletes ever.
All the best, Arden |
That video was crazy. His routine just looks insane, that is a LOT of volume!
The comments on PB are pretty good too...heh. |
fudging Legit.
He did NOT however bellow "Ligtee Weight BAAAYBEY!"....so only 8.5/10 |
|
best part is that the video is labeled "death lift". that sounds much cooler.
|
Nice updated video. I thought it was pretty funny at the end
"I use only this *shows hands*, no suit, no straps, only *picks up foot to show his Oly shoes*, only *gestures to his singlet and belt* my coach....Russian power" For those like me that are no kg oriented...390 kg's = 858 pounds. Insane. |
