Pan-Am/U.S. National Championships

Is anyone going this weekend to Chicago to watch/compete in the Pan-Am/U.S. National Championships? I will be there (I live in Chicago). 3 of my teammates are competing so I am exciting for that.

Are there any lifters in particular to watch????

Dave,
Coach Triolo will be there with Jess Carrero (69kg class). I think Joe is supposed to be the announcer for several of the classes as well.

There are a few 85s from the NY/NJ area in very close competition with each other and should be putting up solid numbers: Pete Madow, Mike Tirrito, and Frankie Murray.

If they webcast it, I'll also look forward, in particular, to watching Jackie Berube and Rizelyx Rivera (w63), Alex Lee, Aaron Adams and the rest of the men's 62 class, Kendrick Farris in the 85s, and Pat Mendes in the 105+ class.

if a webcast becomes available, PM me or post it here so I can check it out...thanks.

Thanks Yuen. I'll look for Joe.

I went to the first 2 sessions today. The women's 48kg Group B and Mens 55kg group A.

The girl from group B C & J over 100kgs at 48kg. And the guy from 55kg C&J I believe 143kg.

It was impressive.

p.s. (the girl was from Mexico and the guy was from Colombia)

85kg class is stacked!
