So yeah it is a little premature, with spring break just starting for many.

What are you going to read?

Darcy (wife) got me a Kindle so I am reading ebooks. Not all of the books that are out there will work on a Kindle. For example Dan John's books.

So on the Kindle

Calmly waiting for Neil Gaiman and William Gibson to put somthing out. Its killing me though.

A whole butt-load of books. I read a lot. Doesn't matter if it is literature or some of my favorite NYT best-selling authors. I always need to be reading something.

Aye, my answer mirrors the one above; I read a ton, so my list would be massive, and fluctuating; It depends on which authors release which books during the summer, as well as how much free time I have. As well, I normally spend a week alone in Northern Ontario hiking and camping, which gives me ample time to run through 3-5 books, depending.

In no particular order;

- 3-4 books of the Jack Aubrey series by Patrick O'Brian
- "Good Calories, Bad Calories", by Taubes
- "The Element" by Ken Robinson
- Wendler's 5-3-1
- "Under the Bar" by Dave Tate
- "British Generals" by Mark Urban
- "Alphabet of Manliness Redux" by Maddox
- Anything Bernard Cornwell releases between now and September
- "Paleolithic Solution" by Robb Wolf (although this will likely be an early September read)

I read a ton too, but I'm cheap, so I visit the local libraries often. I really prefer that most of my reading is for entertainment. I'd say ~10% of what I read is for education or enlightenment.

I do eventually get through most of the stuff written on training.

Libraries rule and IMO are such an underutilized resource. Coming from a library geek growing up I'm probably biased...

I enjoy hitting up booksales at libraries. Get bag fulls of cheap books when you can find them.

Robb Wolf's book. Plus a buttload of history, mathematics and science materials in preparation for teaching next year's classes.

I really need to stop posting and finish Weaver's Ideas Have Consequences.

I heard Dan John should have a new book out soon, too. He's goooooood.

I actually have read Meditations each of the last two years and will likely read it again. That and The Zanzibar Chest. I've started and stopped that book maybe five times. I really like it, but something has interrupted me whenever I try to read that one.

Hmmm might have heard about that guy somewhere....

Joe I am with you, Neil Gaiman is one of my favorites. Gibsons last book with the Blue Ant company was not my favorite of his, I liked it but probably wont read it again which is odd for one of his books.

I have read a bunch of Urban Fantasy books this year while sitting on planes. Something from the Nightside (Simon R. Greene) is probably my favorite series in that genre. Highly recommend it. Another author I have really enjoyed this last year is Christopher Moore. He writes some really great stuff. Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove being one of my all time favorites.

I really need to start using the library more. My friends and family come over to my place and use it as a library.
