Lifting with knee
total right knee replacement
replacement of artificial joint
replaced tibia with stainless steel rod
left medial meniscus tear
C5 and C6 were replaced with cadaver and fused into place
These are the five surgeries my father has had within the last three years, the most recent was the replacement of c5 and c6. He has been itching to get back into working out and I was wondering what special considerations need to be taken into effort here, especially with regards to his knee. I will be home this weekend to see how his air squat looks but in does anyone have any ideas that stand out to them right off the bat?
Check his mobility for air squats.
Also, ask his doc what he can/cannot do for exercise. Unfortunately, the likely answer will be limited to pretty much nothing at all...
He actually has clearance to get back into activity. I will be able to evaluate his squat in a few days when I am home from school.
