6.5-40kg Adjustable Competition kettlebell.
I haven't tried one of these myself so I can't comment on the quality of construction but judging from the pictures it look's like a well designed product and at that price I'd say it's a good alternative to buying a whole set of different weight kb's. I don't know whether or not they're available in the U.S. but I thought I'd post the link here in case anyone's interested.

That is awesome! Nice find. Doesn't look like they ship to the US though, they consider Scotland and Northern Ireland to be remote locations. I'll have to keep an eye out for those making their way to the US.

Have you been to either place?
There was a very positive review of this product in Fighting Fit magazine by a guy called BJ Rule. He's pretty experienced in the kettlebells. Quote:

Has anyone tried these yet? Is there anything like these here in the states? I'd love to buy two of them...

Thanks Pat. I looked all over and could not find them. $250 per each is quite an investment... Especially with no "warranty written or implied".
I appreciate the link. |
Have Used them,Quality and make is great
Practical Usuage Everyone who own's one eventually just leave the weight set, as it's a pain in the butt to change loads So while the concept is great you will find that your not going to change the loads during a workout So in reality its better if you just buy the weights you require |
Andrew,
That is awesome information. How would they be for several people to use for training? Getting, for example, four of them to allow many people to train with them in the same facility. I wouldn't think I'd want to change the weights during a workout, but maybe change them workout to workout... Do you have a feel for how they would be for serious KB training? By that I mean the difference between a GS specific gym and your typical "all around" gym where KBs are just a small part of the overall picture. Sheesh, does that last question make ANY sense??? Thank you for your first hand experience. |
WKC just marked them down to $149 each.
FYI, I elected to not buy these and buy individual competition KBs instead and think this was the best decision for me. |
