Hello, my name is Mette and I practice Olympic weightlifting. I live in Denmark !
Age: 18 Weightclass: 75kg Occupation: Tehcnical Gymnasium/highschool /third and last year I have practiced Olympic weightlifting since January 2009. Gym: HG Weightlifting/Powerlifting My goals: To qualify to the Nordic Championships and to do a BW-snatch! My lifts: Benchpress 55kg Squat 115kg Front Squat 80kg Deadlift 130kg Clean and jerk 70kg Snatch 55kg In this sport I have accomplished: Junior Danish champion 2010 + Danish record holder i snatch, c&j and in total Eastern Denmark champion 2010 + Danish record improvement in snatch, c&j and in total Next meeting: Danish Nationals for seniors 5. March 2011 Nutritional supplements I use: Omega 3 Protein powder Energizer Multi vitamin Creatin Vitamin D I hope that you will read and comment on my training! :) |

TRAINING AT HGVS
Warming up with 6 sets of leg exstensions. HIGH BOX SQUAT 5x5 45kg - okay, my knee did not hurt as much MUSCLE SNATCH FROM BOXES 2x3 25kg 2x3 30kg 2x3 32,5kg - light weight and focus on technique STIFF-LEGGED DEADLIFT SNATCH GRIP TO KNEE 5x 35kg 5x 45kg 4x 50kg 2x4x 60kg 4x 65kg MILITARY PRESS 5x 25kg 5x 30kg 2x5x 35kg Lightweight! - I can easily press 40-45kg COMMENT ON THE TRAINING Nice training! It feels good to be able to train ordinary again. From monday next week I am going to tran my legs with full weight again. It is the last week where I can train normal, before the danish nationals. :) |

TRAINING AT AK ATLAS
Warmed up with leg exstensions HIGH BOXSQUAT 5x5x 20kg - only to get the feeling. My normal squat routine goes up to 105kg's for reps. CLEANPULL OF BLOCKS 4x 55kg 4x 60kg 4x 62,5kg 4x 72,5kg 2x3x 80kg BICEPS+TRICEPS+BACK puuuuuuump! A very good training. I trained with some friends who also are weightlifters but they have done it for many years, compared to me. Today we promised each other that our big goal is the olympic games 2016. If we qualify(the chance for my friend is very big) then it will be the first danish woman/women at the olympics. |

TRAINING AT HGVS SQUAT 2x3x 50kg 2x2x 70kg 2x2x 80kg 2x 90kg On saturday I at going to squat as normal, about 105 for reps. CLEAN PULLS 2x3 65kg 2x3 70kg 2x 75kg 2x 80kg EASY! SHOULDER+ABS+RC 11 DAYS OUT!! TRAINING AT HGVS SNATCH First time for 1½ week 2x 25kg 3x 30kg 3x 35kg 2x 40kg 2x1x 45kg 1x 50kg BOOOOOM! Really easy. PUSHPRESS 3x 45kg 2x3 50kg 2x2 55kg Sooo easy.
