Knots under shoulder blade
 

I have been dealing with horrible knots under my right shoulder blade for some time now. I remember having them back in high school, but lately they are worse. I have tried using the peanut ( two tennis balls), lacrosse ball, on the area. It is very tender, but never seems to go away. Any suggestions?

Can be any number of things from SI/lumbar issues or upper cervical issues or shoulder issues or thoracic spine/rib issues....

No way to tell without more information, and when I said that I don't mean i can actually figure it out online. It's possible but who knows.
