Supplementation for OWL
Just perused a Muscle and Fitness magazine and was astounded by the sheer amount of expensive productions advertised within and the promises of becoming a monster when taking them :eek:
But I am curious what the forum members take for supplementation. Myself: whey protein, creatine, and the occasional vitamin complex. I have heard BCAAs and/or arginine/glutamine can help. This is covered in Gregg's book but wanted to get additional user input.
Creatine, glutamine, fish oil, protein, plus some sleep stuff.
I like glutamine immediately post workout. I've never seen anything w BCAAs, although I know some people who swear they work. I like the Podium Gold creatine that we sell - has beta-alaline with it. It's expensive, but as someone who doesn't respond particularly well to creatine, I find it actually helps me a bit so I'd rather spend a bit more and get an effect than spend less for nothing at all.
