15k kilo bar questions
I pretty much understand the use of the smaller 15k bar for use with female or younger athletes.
I just wanted to know what your stance was on the athletes using the bar for other assisted exercises like press and variations, deadlifts and other pulls and the like.
Do the ladies at your gym use a 20 kilo bar for everything except the actual lifts?
Our women train on a 15 kg for everything they do, with the occasional exception of back squats - some prefer the feel of the larger diameter bar in the BS.
If you compete on a 15 kg / 25 mm bar (which all women do), you need to train on one.
