Does the weight of the bar...
Does the weight of the bar affect how far out the hips push it?
I've been trying and trying to emulate the bar path and position of the elite lifters and it just dawned on me that they are bouncing off of a much bigger weight relative to their body weight than I am. Now I can see that they are literally being pushed back rather than the bar being pushed out. Is that correct?
Sort of... It's arguable that they're bouncing it off their hips. I would say that most are not. But yes, if you slam your hips forward against the bar, the heavier it is, the less it will move forward.
