Default My wife surprised me this morning

I was cooking breakfast for the family this morning and my wife said "for my egg sandwich you can put 2 eggs on 1 piece of toast cut in half, its healthier that way".

I was speechless she loves bread, we have been working on diet for 6 months now and that is the first time she has voluntarily given up bread. I even controlled my response and wasn't sarcastic. I simply said "yes mam". By the way that is the perfect response to 90% of statements made by a wife but I digress.

I don't know but this feels like a watershed momemt, a simple yet powerful movement towards better health and longevity.

Here is our breakfast

Daughter 5:
2 Eggs sunny side up (she only eats the whites and dips them a little in the yolk)
1 Whole Grain waffle with small amount of maple syrup

Son 7:
2 Egg Omelette with lean turkey and small amount of cheddar cheese
1 Piece multi grain wheat toast

Wife (Best not to mention her age):
2 Eggs fried on 1 piece of multi grain wheat toast

4 oz ground turkey burger
3 Eggs all scrambled together

All in all I am pretty darn happy with the way breakfast is going the first 2 weeks of school.
