I haven't had a problem doing 40m-100m balls out sprinting in my Free's BUT I've had my some version of the Free for a while at this point. I don't have the 3.0's but I have 5.0 trainer, 7.0 trainer, 7.0 runner (I was actually looking to get either the 5.0 or 3.0 runner but the 7.0's were on sale for only $30!).
