I don't count calories or do zone...as it is too neurotic and totally messes with my zen life....but eat enough protein and you will do fine. After a while you just "know" what works and what doesn't...plus having low and high days of protein/carbs will always improve utilization. Still...get quality over crap for protein choices. A good steak will do more to building muscle than a whole day of eating lower quality foods.
