Arien I travel all the time and finding a good place to O/Lift is challenging. The USAW website has some links to gyms. Another good place is the Crossfit affiliates listing on the main page. It isn't sorted to good but a quick scan usually lets you know if there is a place.
The second technique I use is if I can't find a gym with bumpers I scale the weight back and do higher reps. Some times I will use one of the days from a strength cycle that has a lot of assistance exercises.
