Its funny you say that Jeremy because that was the first thing I thought when I saw the video.

Come on Mike I know how bad it hurts when you get whacked on the knuckles with a hockey stick. Imagine how strong your hands would be if you practiced this technique with hockey sticks. You guys would be like the Iron Knuckle Hockey Guys. When I first started doing Kali sticks we used hockey gloves for practice so that we would have some sort of ability to move our hands afterwards.

And on a completely unrelated note to the thread but it does involve hockey we have a place on a little Lake Ker in Salt Springs FL and since the weather has become so cold down here in FL we have started having bonfires. We allow my son and nephews to have a fire poker stick the only rule is just like in hockey if we see one out of the fire and above waist level they get 2 minutes in the penalty box for High Sticking.
