Lots of rest between sets (like 5 mins minumum probably closer to 10 or even 15 depending on what you're doing). You don't want to work metabolic AT ALL.

Some plyo work would also be good. After ~5 strides per sec which is easy to hit (maximum human capacity) the way to get faster is to increase stride length.

I assume your technique is fairly strong as well...
