From what I've experienced, you'll get a lot more out of the CA WOD after not only some basic strength training (as mentioned above), but at least a few months of frequent o-lifting.
For most who come from a CrossFit or basic strength training background, strength won't be the real issue when it comes to putting more weight on the bar when you begin weightlifting, but rather a technique deficit. You'll probably be able to work at a higher volume and intensity than called for in the CA WOD for awhile as your maxes continually improve with technique.
Hell, I can still work at 95% of my snatch on a good day without too much effort (damn loopy 2nd pull!). Spend some time with teh bar, and before long you'll need some better programming, and you'll start to hear the CA WOD calling your name...
