I'd say:
- Get Healthy Sat Fats from Healthy Sources
- Enjoy your MUFAs
- Keep PUFAs to essentials and smaller % of total fats, and don't overdo it (more unstable) unless you want to take more antioxidants to counteract it
In the end, probably not going to matter as much for "fuel" but the wrong kinds of fats (more unstable and damaged ones, like trans fats) create less healthy cells and unhealthy cells leads to an unhealthy body over time.
Also you need Sat fats for other things like hormones.....so all in all....proper hormones and healthy cells = greater ability to burn fat....so in that sense the types of fats can effect your performance output as you are the sum of all parts.
