What about muscle loss
I don't know where exactly this question belongs, but this sub-forum seemed most appropriate. If I am wrong, please feel free to move it.
Anyways, I have a female friend who used to do a bodybuilder split routine for a few years and gained some mass/bulkiness while training this way. She has since switched over to CrossFit for the past 4 months. However, she wants to lose some of the muscle she previously attained. She feels that her arms and shoulders are too masculine at this point.
What advice would you guys have for her? Could she continue to follow CrossFit and simply restrict her food intake? I'm not sure that is the right way to go because I know that with eating clean you can still build and/or maintain muscle mass on a calorie restricted diet.
What do you guys think?
