I cook with EVOO all the time because .... well ... i have so damn much of it.
How does cooking ruin EVOO? It would be in my financial interests to conserve it if there are better cooking options. Why are butter, coconut oil, palm oil, etc better for cooking?
Bear in mind, I don't mind the taste of cooked EVOO...but I am always looking to improve and would appreciate your insight here.
