It doesn't really matter. No magic in 40-30-30. Zone achieves insulin control through caloric restriction as much as anything else.

If you run fine on carbs and can still control energy intake, then go for it.
And if you don't think kettleball squat cleans are difficult, I say, step up to the med-ball
