Research on cholesterol
My mother's doctor wants her to start taking statins. I know the consensus here is to avoid them, but I would like to give her some research/articles/etc. supporting that position. I've already sent her the link to Dr. Ravnskov's site, as well as the links to MOD's and Mark's Daily Apple's posts on their respective blogs regarding statins. Where else can I turn for more information and/or studies? I haven't talked about this with her too much yet, but she did mention that the Mayo Clinic seems to support statins and that they mentioned two large statin studies currently underway. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
