i love IF, but when i needed to gain weight again, i found it impossible to get enough calories into a compressed window. it worked early on, but as my caloric needs increased with my weight, i just couldn't do it. i think maybe 1-2 days/week is possible as long as in that week there is an adequate calorie surplus. but for people who struggle to gain, the last think i want them to do is limit the amount of time they have to eat.
