im thinking that instead of doing 6 days a week of training Im going to do 5 days for a while,
6 days a week UNLESS volume is kept low to moderate is a recipe for overworking yourself.

Even if you don't feel it you can still be burned out.

If you're not progressing with your lifts you're doing something wrong.
