yup. you got a sleepy VMO. that said, I think most people have knee structures where the kneecap will always tracks slightly to the outside. the goal in PT is to get things tracking such that even if it tracks laterally, there's sufficnet tension from the other directions that the kneecap doesn't grind in articular surface of the femur.
