Foam Rolling, Tennis Balls, and Myofascial Release
I've heard the term "myofascial release" used here on the forums a fair bit and it seems that the use of foam rollers and tennis balls seems to be pretty common also. While googling will give me plenty of information on these topics, as a total novice I have no idea whether what I am reading constitutes good or bad information.
So I was wondering if forum participants could refer me to the closest thing to a definitive guide on these areas or just anything that you would consider to be recommended reading (whether that be particular sites online or a book to buy).
