I see two benefits: (1) you don't have to be outside in the cold; and (2) easier on the joints. What do you think?

As a hockey player since I was a young lad....I love skating. (then again...I keep to indoor rinks nowadays but remember the days of freezing my toes off skating on lakes outside in New England)
Doing sprints up and back form goal line to blue lines will make anyone puke if you do enough of them.
