Not really do-able in the gym, but if you have access to a climbing wall (especially a bouldering wall) get on that and you'll have friend forearms within 30 minutes to where you can barely untie your shoe laces. The bouldering wall is a low wall, no ropes or harness needed, and it's pretty much grip-only climbing. You move across, not up, and as you get better you move to inclines and inverts. Crazy sh!t.
