Why don't you try a 20:40:40 ratio of carbs to protein to fat? You might even consider upping the calories a touch.
40% CHO is low if you're eating a low calorie diet. Also, as I said before, manipulating macronutrient intakes has no effect on body mass independent of energy balance.
